Ok so I go to my family doctor today for a check up and while I am waiting for him to show up I am looking around the room I was in. On his desk stood a picture frame with some words on it and being bored I read them. What I read made me laugh and I thought this is a perfect thing for mylotters to read so I wrote it down and now I am passing it along to all of mylotters to enjoy. Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely and in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO WHAT A RIDE!" I thought this was so funny sitting on a doctors desk.

i really like your doctor! maybe you can refer him to me?! lol.. but seriously though, that's how we should look at life. that's how I look at life. because in the end, it won't really matter, we'll all go there anyway. Might as well enjoy the ride. =D

LOL Everyone around here likes him. He has so many that he said that if he got a certain amount he was leaving. I hope he never gets to that amount! LOL. He has a great outlook on life that's for sure. Thanks for the comment.

Yes, he does have a point doesn't he? Very surprising to see that in a health care professionals office though. LOL Thanks for the comment.

I have tears in my eyes, and I wish they were there for a happy occasion. Instead, it is for a goodbye to you. I never held your hand, or gave you a hug, but God is getting the chance to do that right now. Your heart spoke louder than a long conversation, and your joy lit up this mylot community. You lived your life, you did the best you could, and now I truly hope you are resting in perfect peace. -Amber

Hahaha. That actually made me laugh out loud. I love reading little signs on desks and in restaurants. Some of them actually tell you something. The best one I have read was about spending money. The way you use your money tells you how you are.

Well Tams...this seems like a really ironic thing for you to have posted just 3 months ago...and now you are no longer here. I will miss you my dear friend..both on-line and in real life. It is still hard for me to believe you are gone and made your last post only a few weeks ago. Well you appeared to do just that...no going to the grave safely and in an attractive by well preserved body. From our experiences with you and your sweet hubby Rob...did slide in sideways...with your beloved chocolate in one hand...and in your own final way...you left together saying WOO HOO WHAT A RIDE! You always said you and Rob would 'be together' and you were and are. You stood by him through thick and thin..and you did choose to be together in that final ride from this plane to the next. May God continue to light your path...for now and forever more. Your friend... Raia
