Hey,In the last few weeks of my pregnancy i got a rash that started on my arms went to my stomach and down my legs..I ended up unable to sleep as very hour ild wake and put lotion on to stop the itching.I went to the doctor about it and they said it was an allergic reaction,he kept saying "youve changed soaps" or "washing powder" I searched my house for products ive changed.. and the only ones a spread over my body was soap and washing liquid in my clothes.NOTHING!i had changed NOTHING!
I went back to the doctors and told him that i searched the house.. he was convinced it was a reaction to something. After the baby arrived by cesa, the rash still appeared drove me mad!Nurses didnt know what it was..I'm think it was to do with my hormones and because of a cesa the rash didnt go away till months after.
Has any one else had this? or something kinda like this?

this also happened to me when i had my second child. i easily get rashes all over my body. then the doctor cannot prescribe me any medicines for it since i was pregnant. there was this caladryl lotion only which i can use. it was good enough that the lotion will take away the itchiness. then whenever the itchiness comes back, i just put more lotion on. it is good that thing was gone after i gave birth to my child. perhaps, my child has some allergies which manifested in me.

I don't know what it is called but I have heard about it. It was on the Lifetime show "Strong Medicine". It's a show about women's health. Anyway, there is a rash specific to pregnancy that develops after the sixth month. I'm surprised your doctor didn't know what it is. Glad to hear that it cleared up though!
