What restaurant dishes would you love to be able to recreate at home?

for me, it's carrabas' minestrone soup. it has a taste that's very much like a chowder, but still minestrone. i haven't quite figure it out yet. what's yours?

Hot and Sour Soup or even egg drop soup (mine is yucky) and crab rangoons (I can not get it quite right, maybe it is something to do with the frying) good gumbo and blackened cat fish oh and jambalaya!

I do crab rangoons with imitation crab meat, cream cheese and minced garlic. They come out better than the restaurant ones. I do about 4 ounces of meat to 1 block of cream cheese.

I bet those are GOOD! with lots of flavor, some restaurants I've noticed barely have anything in the mix than the cream cheese. thank you for the BR!

There was a Chinese place just down the block from where I used to live that made the BEST sesame beef. I make my own version, but it's not quite the same. I would love to be able to figure out what I'm doing differently, so I could recreate it at home... especially since I now live over 2,000 miles from that place!

I would love to recreate the vegetable soup, fried tofu, and veggie spring rolls from our local Chinese restaurant.
