What does it mean to you and what have you heard about it? I read it about 4 times and I still don't understand it. Was it written by John the same John who wrote the Gospel? Is it a dream or visions that he's having?

Revelation means the prophecy of God about what would be happening in the future ( at the ends of time). God wants to inform/warn His people to be aware of consequences they've been doing in order to attain salvation. Revelation is the whole scenario, leading to judgement day and salvation. Revelation was written by the Apostle John who wrote the 4th gospel as well as I John, II John, and III John. He actually saw the Lord Jesus and was taken up into Heaven, probably in the Spirit and was told to write all that he saw which will occur at the end of the age. This book is true and it also says that those who read it will be blessed. It is a sad time for those who will go through the Tribulation but it is an exciting time for the Saints because we will be taken up as John was to observe what happens on earth during this time and then we will come back with the Lord to rule and reign with Him in a new Heaven and a new Earth. The earth will be destroyed but it won't be by humans, it will be by the Wrath of God. But, we will get a new one and it will be better than the one we're on now. Keep reading the book, be blessed.
