would confrontation ruin your relationship?

my friends and I share a common trait together. We all believe that in every relationsip, before one can savour its sweetness, he must first endure its bitterness. We believe that a relationship will not last if the people involved do not know how to express their real feelings. in times when there is a need for confrontations, whether in an assertive or passive manner, tough maybe but one must do so even if it means calling for a war. Surviving the battle could mean a lot. it makes the relationship stronger and more comfortable than it was before. do you have the same or related experince? Care to share? what are your views with this one?

confrontations are ok as long we do it in a suttle way . the problem is what if the other party doesnot reply nor give his or her side .it would appear that you are nagging , its a good thing if both parties are open for communication.
