Nowaday, usually people will put a packet of tissue paper in their bag or pocket. This had supercede the handkerchief where we used to carry with us. I have stop using handkerchief 20 years ago. But, my brother is carrying a handkerchief with him till today. I personally find that tissue paper is handy and more hygiene..... though it is not environmental friendly which is not adhere to ISO14001. How about you? Do you still carry handkerchief or tissue paper?

Hello, maehan,i use tissues instead of handkerchief,i think it is handier to use tissues. Honestly i know it is not good to the environment, but it may not be hygienic to use handkerchief, like if you have wiped your mouth after meals, you may have to keep dirty handkerchief for the whole day or even need to use it again during the day.

Personally, due to my allergies/sinusitis, i prefer carrying tissue. I need to carry alot though. I just feel like a handkerchief is less hygienic. Once you blow your nose, that's it. You can't use them anymore. So in my bag, i keep lots of packet tissues and also a packet of wet tissues. Really handy when kids start eating ice cream, or even for yourself.. in a sticky situation. But my husband and brothers still use handkerchiefs. They usually use it to wipe sweat off their brow.

Same here. :) I only carry tissue paper with me these days. It's been a really long while since I las used a handkerchief. I too feel that it's more hygienic to use tissue paper than to reuse a handkerchief. So that's what I prefer to do. Tissues can be used just once and then thrown away. Then I can just take a brand new piece when I need to. I definitely prefer tissue paper for hygiene reasons.

I have tissue paper too. But it's more expensive than a hanky.lol. I observe that it covers a significant portion of my budget. So maybe i'll shift to hankerchief soon, would it be better? But since you point out that tissue paper is more hygenic...well, i guess i'll have to think about it first.lol
