Do I offend you? Good get over it

I am writing this as a rant to all of you who are reporting posts that are perfectly fine and not offensive at all. First of all if you don't what like you read and a poster is offending you. Look at the top right hand corner of the page, if this offends you click on the X. Because what is offensive to you isn't to me or alot of others on here. Stop being petty and grow up. The internet is like a big huge Television station, if you don't like what is on your screen, pull something new up.
Stop pick on Jimbo (You know who you are.) His post my be out there but they are not offensive and I am tired of having GREAT discussion with him and other's that respond to his posts to find out the next day that you have once again stalked him to report him. I want to say to you "GROW freaking up".
Okay to all of you that this does not apply to ignore it. Like I heard when I was a small child. If it don't apply let it fly. This rant isn't directed to you.

Ya know, there really does seem to be a lot of crap goin on here lately with the trolls harrassing and stalking and the prudes whining and getting things deleted...Its ridiculous IMO..and you're right ppl need to grow the hell up! and nice comparison to watching tv too..cause basically thats the way it is..you dont like whats playing, change the bloody channel!!

It makes me upset to see my hard work disappear. I take time to respond to my discussions and then check to see if the people I have responded to have responded back and so on and so on. Then one of the bible thumpers get offended. Then all that time and hard work is down the drain. I love to write, and at time writer's block can set in, so I don't want any words I write to disappear, just because someone don't like what I have to say, or even better they don't like my religion.

You are right avonrep1. It is not fair to report anything one finds against his/her opinions. Keeping hostility in mind is not good. Everybody has their freedom of expression. If we don't like something we should avoid that discussion. No one should act police here in mylot. I don't know anything about the particular incident you point out, but I am giving my opinion in general.

I really wish I knew who keeps doing it, they have done it to mine also. I would have over 1000 if it weren't for perfectly good discussions, not in violation of any of the rules, disappearing, it is frustrating. If I knew who was doing it I would go to their discussions and report everything that offends me, that I would normally just avoid it.

But in mylot it is quite imposible to find out who is doing this. Some people seems to take advantage of this. One should not be non ethical to that extent. Defend your cause if you disagree with something told by somebody, or else simply quit the discussion. Not every person will hold our opinions. Some may object them. We must have a little bit of tolerence. At least that is the crux of discussion forum like mylot.

lol you didn't offend me. I always have the opinion that people are so different and diverse but the good thing is that the world is big enough to accommodate our excesses. Once you don't like a discussion, you walk away from it instead of going ahead to set-up a clash with the person.
For me i try to avoid getting on peoples nerves so at times when a topic is out of my good opinion i ignore it

This does not apply and yet I must support you. I think we need to allow more freedom here in sharing a belief. We have the right to say that we don't agree. We have the right like with the television to turn the channel or move on to another discussion like here. Negativity is not worth participating in for sure. Would be great to have healthy discussions with learning and sharing going on. I hope people can learn from this and go on their way and we shall go on our way. Peace is my wish.

Huggie I have been on their hit list for some time. I would be at over 1000 post now if it weren't for them people who like to stalk Jimbo and I feel like I get stalked to by them. Just because of my religious beliefs. I guess it offends the bible thumpers.

Well i belive there is a group on here who stalk and then email the group about a topic and then they all complain about it till it is deleated

Huggie we should all start are own little group. But not to get people's post removed but to get the group of people a crap load of responses. lol Then with the rating option our whole group would be at 9 at least all the time, cause you know our stalkers will be rating a negative just because they can't handle a good quality discussion. lol

Its good to have different opinions than other people. I like when people have different points of view. I am not trying to bash anyone and if that is what you thought I was doing. I am sorry, because that isn't what I was trying to do. I was really trying to point out, that though you might not agree it don't give anyone the right to report it. Now there are things that are way out of line, that should be reported. Referral links post should be. If someone is talking about molesting children or something like that. But if I want to talk and be informed on problems with pooping, I shouldn't be reported.

This pi$$es me off so bad. There are pathetic losers out there unfortuntely. I am just completely dumbfounded by people actions, like you said if they dont like it they dont have to read it. There are some great discussions that have been deleted, its annoying when you go back later to reply and its gone. I dont see how these great conversations get deleted and stupid idiotic pathetic 3 worders get to stay.

I agree! If a discussion offends you, don't even bother with it. Some people just won't grow up, though.
I still haven't figured out why ANYONE would pick on Jimbo. He may be different, but he's such a NICE lion. :)

I know Jimbo is the friendlist lion around, I really enjoy his post. His is the first I go to to check out and see. I have responded more to his post I think that anyone else on mylot. He is funny, entertaining and has good quality though sometimes a little gross or taboo, but always with-in the guideline discussions. I always look forward to seeing what comes out of his head next.
