How often do you give positive?

I have been giving a positive to almost anyone who responds to my post and all the posts that I reply to. What do the positive's do?

I would say I give a positive rating to every response I receive. Unless it's a ridiculous one in which case they get a negative.

I guess I have lucked out and only gotten responses that were relevant.

Luckily everyone that has responded to me has deserved a positive rating. So far everyone I have met here has been really nice and really helpful. Mylot has been alot of fun for me!
