What do you plan to give your dad this father's day?

Some of the things I've given my husband (aside from perfume) are: a shirt for work, ties, wallet or money clip. Another nice thing is if you have a big family, you can get him a pewter family tree and place your pictures in it. I bought one from Things Remembered (online). I hope this helps.

Does your father wear cologne? Because I wouldn't give him that if he doesn't wear it. We've gotten to a point now where I only send my father a card. being that we live far from each other. But other suggestions might be a gift certificate somewhere. Like to a restaurant or a book store.

My dad passed away a little over 1 1/2 years ago. I do have an 80 year old father in law and I got him a card and a tropical shirt. He's mobile without any walking aids and he does walk daily for exercise, so I figured this is a shirt he can sport around in.

i guess maybe i should bring some flowers to his grave, i wish i could give him a big hug rather than flowers, because i know he would have prefered it. we may have enjoyed a drink together, in celebration of the day, maybe a steak dinner if i could get him to sit long enough to eat it. it's too late now tho. i miss him dearly
