Good morning everyone! How did everyone do yesterday. In my neck of the woods the sun was shining all day long and there was a wonderful breeze throughout the afternoon. I ate fast food for breafast, lunch and dinner but I didn't eat that much. I still shouldn't have had fast food. Tonight I am going grocery shopping and plan on buying a lot of nurtitional food items. Although I didn't do too good with the eating part, I did go walking for over an hour with my parents last night! So hopefully I didn't gain anything. Unfortunately I did plan on wearing a pair of pants yesterday to work and they wouldn't button comfortably anymore. :( I'm hoping its because they were just out of the dryer and I don't care what people tell me, pants that are out of the dryer are tighter than the last time you wore them. We'll see what happens tomorrow with the numbers. Remember, tomorrow is our weigh-in. Weigh yourself and then post how many pounds you have lost up to date. If you lost two pounds this week and two pounds last week then record that so far you have lost a total of 4 pounds for this competition. Good luck to everyone and remember, "the scales never lie." Sorry, that was from the show Celebrity Fit Club!! :)

Just keep a positive attitude! If you have any questions about anything, I encourage you to ask them and I'm sure that one of our friends here on MyLot will be able to answer them. Good luck!

Good morning racheld and everyone in the weight loss competition~ I did pretty good yesterday. I had an english muffin for breakfast, a lean cusine for lunch~ along with a couple handfuls of m&m's and for dinner we were going to subway, but time got the best of us so we ended up running threw mcd's. I ended up having a hot and spicy chicken sandwich. I know that wasn't the best choice, but after I worked the fun fair at my sons school and had to chase footballs around all night. I was beat by the end of the night. I think that I am doing ok. Tomorrow will tell! Just a tip....I read that the celebrities who have lost tons of weight eating sensibly are on that nutrisystem where you order the meals. Well, I can't afford to do that, but I did read that you can do this yourself if you eat the lean cuisine meals or the weight watcher meals with a big salad for lunch and dinner. I have been trying to eat the lean cuisines at lunch since this is when I seem to want more, and they are good tasting and filling. Hope this helps:)

I appreciate your information. That does make sense about eating the big meals at lunch time. I love the Weight Watcher meals. To me, they are better than the Lean Cuisine, but unfornunately they are expensive. Maybe I'll just pick up a couple of them and then get some salad! Take care and good luck!

I went down to 211 and then went back up to 215 lb. I guess I have to cut out or down on bread and pasta and stuff with salt in it. That's what causes me to gain weight, not the sugary stuff because I hardly eat any. I do a lot of exercise though. I really should get a large pair of weights, but cannot afford them. I am way past the lift two bleach bottles filled with water and lift two soup can types of substitutes.

Good morning all, Yesterday was a good day for me. I had homemade yogurt with banana, raspberries and blueberries for breakfast. I add a tsp of each of the following - wheat germ , flax meal and psyllium husks to my yogurt. For the mid day meal we had pork chops, brown rice, oyster and shitake mushrooms cooked with onions and garlic. Since DH was on afternoons this was our main meal. For dinner I had salad and dressing. I had a snack of party mix while I watched some TV n the evening. I stayed within my calorie range (I use Sparkpeople.com to record all food intake and exercise)and since I had walked to the library with my daughter earlier in the day I feel I had a healthy day all in all. It a bright, pleasant day today and I'm off to do some mystery shops and then will be walking home. I hope everyone has a great day!
