I haven't, but my mother has tried...she shot herself in the head before I was born and survived. It was very difficult for me when I found out(I believe my parents told me when I was too young, I was only 12 when I heard all the details.) Also, a male friend of mine hung himself after breaking up with one of my closest girl friends...that was a very tough time for everyone involved.
