Working part time in Paris

I have moved to Paris from London with my husband who is employed at La Defence. I do not speak french very well but I have received 15 out of 75, one 2 one french lessons, which have been organised and paid for as part of our relocation package. Originally I intended to not work so that I could travel with my husband and also take the opportunity to explore Paris. However, I am used to working long hours in a demanding sales environment and after being here for 12 weeks and not working I am becoming frustrated through being bored of my own company! I would like to work in a customer facing environment where my english could be useful but I could also perfect my french. I have been to my local hotel du ville and have tried contacting museums direct but so far have had no luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I will be truly gratefull. Thank you.
