Wedding photographers

What do you think of wedding guests snapping random pics during the ceremony when a professional was already hired? Do you think it's imposing on the professional and distracting to have so many flashes going off or do you think it's a good way to capture candid shots?

I had both at my wedding and it didn't cause a problem. It was good because the guest were able to get some really good photos at different angles.

if i had to do it over again, i would buy about 30 disposable cams and not have hired a professional...it was much too costly and i found the random shots to be much better! my cousin took great shots! i think the non-posed ones are the best frankly!
