Yes it is true; I cut my own hair about 95 percent of my life since I was about 20 years old. Oh yah I did go for a perm when I was about 21 years old. Now that is a picture to see. Why oh why didn't anyone tell me it looked so bad. Not kidding! Okay so yes I cut my own hair most of the time. Always there is years between a visit to the hair dresser. Here is a picture of the last time I cut my own hair taken about 3 months ago. I really don't trust my family or friends to tell me the truth. Is it okay or should I start going to the hair dresser on a regular bases? Especially to get it coloured properly but that is a different subject. Is my hair okay or not?

Yes,, I was thinking I might go and get my first professional hair dye job done. I hate the way my hair always as a red color to it. Maybe they can do it a dark blond without the red. Maybe I will get them to cut it shorter too.

I used to cut my own hair from the age of 15. But at 35 before my wedding I went to a barber after 20 years. Then it continued till now, but recently at 50 I thought that the barbers are not doing a proper job. I also have all the utensils and accessories used by the barber, so I started cutting my own hair again.

Wow, I could be able to cut my own hair. believe me I have tried and even when I cut my own bangs they were never straight. The style that you wear seems to lend itself to cutting it by yourself. You seem to have done a good layering job.
