Is there a special time, maybe holiday or family vacation that years later you can still recall and enjoy the memory of? I can remember being about 5 years old and going to visit my grandmother for Christmas with my family. She lived in Canada and when we got there the snow was so deep! The snow was up to my waist! I was one very amazed kid!

Too funny! Mom kept putting the same potato in each new hole. That's a memory worth keeping!

My favourite childhood memory was probably something to do with my grandfather. I can remember a few things which would be in the contest for favourite memory but I did have a very happy childhood so choosing one would be hard. (I'll mention one I hold close though) My grandfather, my brother and I would go to places like the circus and things like that each weak. My grandmother was pretty awkward so she came and didn't but this one time she came, we went to arboretum and walked through the park and enclosed area. I can still remember seeing the butterflies and parrots etc (I was pretty young then) but the whole day was very special. ~Joey

That sounds very special Joey! I know what you mean, how do you pick one when there were so many! I picked mine because it was my first real memory of how deep the snow can get and how my young mind was so astounded by it!

I think one of my favorite memories would be when I was about 8 years old and my family would get together every weekend to watch movies and eat..we would always have so much fun laughing and talking..I think about then and now and how things have changed and its kind of depressing now that my mother is gone..but at least I still have the memory

When family goes on malling. I love the fun and bonding we used to have. It united us as one solid family. Also, when we go to church afterwards. Attending masses together seemed like a strong tradition that passes from one generation to the other in our family.
