I see tonight in the paper where a town has passed a law that no one can wear those pants that hang down to the knees exposing their underwear! What do you think of them passing this kind of law? Is it too much to tell people what to wear or does it make sense. If I went out to take the garbage out in my underwear and a policeman drove by I could get it for indecent exposure....LOL What is your opinion?

It all depends on the penalty if you are caught by the police. If it is a fine, then I guess it is okay. But if the law was passed so the police can throw urban youth into youth detention centers, then I would have a problem. I think it is a little silly to have to pass this kind of law. Can you picture it. On a Saturday night, the police have a made clothing check points on every corner in a 2 block radius of a popular club. What a waist of man power.

That would be a total waste. And each generation has their own style. Thanks for the reply!

And the way they dress is the way they define themselves.I think there is a public highschool that banned baggy pants. At the time all I thought was all a student has to do to get out of staying in school that day is wear the wrong thing and they would be sent home.

For one, I can see why it would be a good thing to do, however, it's getting horrible when the government (whether or not it's local) is starting to control and tell people what they can and cannot wear. I definitely see this as a right infringement.

Me too. Personally I often wonder how they walk without tripping over their own pants. Thanks for the input!
