She is very sad, because her dog died. the Dog eat some bad dog food. Remember when they were recalling dog food. Her dog got a hold to some bad dog food. she has had that dog for 14 years, she is going to miss that dog, I know she is. If there anything she can do about the dog eating this bad dog food? I think they gave her a phone number. Don't you really get attached to your pets. I know I had a puppy, and gave it to my next door niebor, the puppy was in a accident and died. do you know I cried when I found out what happen to the dog. I was never one to have patience for pets.I don't have time for them. they are nice to have for company and so forth. anything ever happen to your dog? nave a nice eveing or Morning!!

So far nothing has happened to my dogs. I have to find new homes for two of them since I live in the city now after my housefire. It will be hard to see them go to new homes when they are found. I will have to interview the people and then it still will not be easy and I hope that they might send me pictures. I hope your friend finds a way to manage without her beloved pet.

Yes, in 2003 my dog started having non-stop grand maul seizures. We had to put her to sleep. She was 15 years old. I still miss her. I cried all the way home from the vet. I was holding her and by the time we got home she was already stiff. It was raining out and the middle of November and it was cold but I dug a grave for her and buried her. I still miss her and think about her.

When my two sisters and I were little, we lived in a foster home where they had three dogs and at least three kittens and a vicious cat that they kept tied up. I remember the dog named Penciltail (yellow, with a tail shaped like a pencil) got ahold of some kind of chemical in the garage and ingested it. No one tried to do anything to save him, I guess they knew it was useless. We watched him lay around the yard and slowly die. I will never forget that day for as long as I live. My sisters and I loved those dogs a lot. We use to carry the two little ones, penciltail and bob (bobtail) around so much that our foster parents said that they were not going to be good for anything. They were fat and spoiled, but they were sure a lot of fun. Then there was Katrina. They said that she was 100 years old. I assume that those were dog years. She was very nervous and did some weird stuff. I don't think she hated anything more than New Years and the Fourth Of July. Everytime she heard a pow or a bang, she would start shaking. There came a point when I stopped liking animals for a very long time. I had been abused and could not stand to be touched or be affectionate toward anyone or anything. Now I am back to being silly over animals.

Hi Marcie! I am so sorry that your friend lost her dog. This is an outrage that is happening and there needs to be done something quickly before any more family pets are lost. We have a dog, cat, gerbil and nine hermit crabs. I have to admit that I'm as attached to them as my kids are. If anything happens to our pets it tears us all up. I know it won't be the same but hopefully your friend can get another dog soon to fill that empty space in her heart. Have a great day! Shelia

I feel so sorry for her, and there is nothing you can say to make her feel better. Just let her talk it out and all you need to do is listen to her. I have lost 2 dogs and you would have thought I lost 2 of my children the way I acted. I cried for days. They are a part of your family, and you should morn for them. I have a dog now who is 13 years old, and she is showing signs of getting old, but I don't want to see them. She is the most gentle, smart, loving, dog I have had. I will be a wreck when something happens to her. She's just a mutt we saved, but she is my beloved mutt!
