Are you a bookworm? Do you love to read? How long can you can read at a stretch? I have seen many people who can read continuously for hours...but i cant do that. I can read at most for 2 hours at a stretch. When i was at school, i could read much more, now the habit is gone, i can hardly read for long. What's your favourite book that you enjoyed reading the most?

I love reading , I takes my mind of from my busy schedule !!! I can read at the max 3 - 4 hours in a strech take a short break and then continue reading or leave it to take it up later. But I have noticed some of my friends they reading day and night , thery say they cant sleep peacefully is they dont complete the book . They keep reading even till 3 - 4 am in the night. I just makes me marvel. I have had many favourite books. But to mention , I prefer these , During my childhood is used to " The Famouus Five " series written by Enid Blyton. Presently , it is " Harry Potter " collection of J.K. Rowling. Eagerly waiting for the last book !!! Keep reading !!! Good Luck !!!

Books are a vast source of knowledge...Reading is indeed a very good habit, the more you read, greater will be your knowledge. Enjoy.

I enjoy reading very much, I am truly a bookworm... I could read on and on all day long, if I had nothing else to do. Sadly, I have to work and go to university. But I read on the bus to and from work, I read at night, I read on weekends... And I think that's why I don't have a favourite book either. I just love reading, I could never think of just one title!!

Very interesting person you are...Has reading ever affected your eyesight? Do you wear glasses?
• Argentina

No, it hasn't. I used to wear glasses when I was a little kid (i even had lazy eye syndrom, so the had to cover the good one to force the other eye to work harder) but now my eyes are perfect, thank god!

I love to read sci-fi, horror, and comic books (graphic novels nowadays), I like to read things that are out of the norm in a way.

I love to read and I can read for hours at a time, if my husband and kids leave me alone (not that it ever happens). I mostly read romances but sometimes read real crime and such. I joined a Freecycle Yahoogroup and people post books for free all of the time. Since I read more than I can afford to buy, I'm not picky when someone says they have a box of books for free and that all I have to do is drive over and get them. :)

I love to read. When I want to know about something, I read about it first. There is a research that says 80% of what we know comes from what we read. I definitely agree on these. A wide reader is much more knowledgeable.

like the tag you put tou this discussion i must to say that i've read for many hour a year ago a Harry Potter Book because it was very intresting. Maybe you can't read so much time now because you don't choose the proper book for you . You should choose more intresting books .. not book that are boring ...

I used to like to read, then after having taken AP English for the last two years in high school followed by Masterpieces of Western Literature in college, I seem to have gotten all of my reading out of my system. Now when I try to read for too long, I'll just fall right to sleep. Maybe I should pick it up again, that could probably help with my insomnia.

No i am not a bookworm. Though i do love to read when i was kid i used to read text books, comics, classics, famous five and other enid blyton books. Now i prefer to read best sellers like alchemist and who moved my cheese which are inspiring books. I am not too much into reading these days though i read newspapers daily esp. news headlines, sports & entertainment pages. I don't think i can read at stretch I need to take breaks often to relax chill out.

If I had enough time, I could read all day. I don't have much time for reading anymore though. But I absolutely love a good book that I can't put down, I have read way too many books to be able to tell you a favorite. I enjoy all types and genres of books, and would find it very difficult to name just one.

I love to read, just not all the time. I have to be in the mood. If I find a new Chicken Soup for the Soul book, I will start it in the evening after my son and husband are in bed. I usually end up reading until 2:00 am or so. When it is quiet I love to sit and read for hours on end. No phones, no conversations, no questions, no one at the door. Chicken Soup for the Soul books are my favorite reading, but i like a good romance book now and again, too.
