my husband chickened out. Would you do the show trading spousses? It takes two weeks of 24/7 filming. My hubby didn't like the thought of all the cameras they were talking about putting in our house. But I told him the pay was so good, it would pay off our parent loans we have on our two sons in college. But he wouldn't go for it. Would you?

Ah, darn! That's too bad that your husband decided not to do it. The pay alone would have been worth dealing with all the cameras in the house. You're braver than I am, though. I don't think I could have done it. My luck, I would have ended up with Mr. Mousy who couldn't have dealt with me and my big mouth and my bluntness and quit the show! LOL

I was really thinking about you, I didn't want them to find your hidden cameras...LOL...I kept telling my hubby it was easy money, and boy could we use it...we have so many parent loans out on our two college students, I don't think we will ever get out from under them. My cat and dog would probably chew up their cameras and we would have to pay for them...LOL

LOL! Thank God the cameras are in YOUR house and not mine! Hehehehe! Just your luck, and mine too, the cats would purposely trip the camera technicians and end up destroying the camera setups all together.

My husband would never do the show, but I think it might be interesting. How did you get auditioned for the show in the first place. Just wondering!

I was always on their chat board. Then they put a message on the chat board saying they were looking for new familys for next season. If interested, you called the number posted. I called the number and I got an answering machine that asked you to leave interesting and unusal information about your family and if they were interested in your family they would call you back. They called me back and talked for a long time on the phone. Then I had to send them pictures of our family. That's when they said they wanted us,and my husband chickened out.

Oh I don't know if I can do that! I watch that show but I don't know if I can handle all those cameras around me :) I kow my husband wouldn't go for it either. Gosh if you decided to go ahead and do the show I'll sure will watch it :) I understand your husband.

It would depend on how much money was at stake (AFTER taxes, of course ;)). Seriously though, I'd probably back out too as I wouldn't want cameras in my face 24/7, even if it is for only 2 weeks. I am such a private person, I don't think I would want my house invaded like that. It would drive me crazy!!!

I decided it would take me to long to clean my house before I would let the cameras in...LOL....and after taxes the money isn't that great.

When I have watched that show, I have thought about signing up for it. It looks really fun! However, I know my husband would totally not go for it-- and I don't think I could stand leaving my son for 2 whole weeks! I wish your husband wouldn't have chickened out, that would have been neat!

I would do it. That is like a once in a lifetime opportunity. You never know what you might learn from the other person and it's not like you wouldn't be being handsomely rewarded for it. What is two weeks out of your life anyway?

I don't think I could do it either. I'm a very private person and I just can't imagine my space being invaded like that. Not to mention, I wouldn't want to be away from my family for 2 weeks.
