Hello everyone! Today is my birthday and I am excited to say that I lost .5 pounds. I know it isn't a lot, BUT with everything that has been going on right now with my dad and all, I really haven't been eating right or exercising so I was so excited to see that I haven't gained anything!! YEAH!! How did everyone else do? Remember even the slightest loss is something to be happy about. You didn't gain, and you still lost something. Now my total for the two weeks so far is a loss of 1 1/2 pounds, whats yours? (Remember to mention how much you lost this week and then give me a combined total for the two weeks) Good luck! And have a great weekend! I'll post the results tomorrow morning!

Yesterday I decided to not eat any bread nor pasta. My husband said if I went that route, I should also cut down on fats and oils. However my problem is carbohydrates and especially those in breads and pastas. It does not matter if I eat whole wheat products (I had whole wheat pasta) but the quantity. So yesterday, I decided that in order to get my weight to the average after my one month with a diet pill product, I would go one day with no breads, pastas, or rice. As a result I am back to 213 lb or is it 212 lb. and if I keep this up and only have bread or pasta at one meal, I will be in the 100s and no longer in the 200 lb range.

I love whole wheat pasta. I make my own sauce also, so it is very healthy. I didn't tell my husband and kids that I changed the pasta to whole wheat and they haven't noticed. I feel like I can actually enjoy pasta now without feeling guilty.

Congratulations on your loss! I've heard from a lot of people that bread can really plump you up, thats why I've seen people eat hamburgers with no buns. Maybe I should start doing that. Although, I don't eat that much bread as is, so I don't see it making that much difference, but I'll give it a try. Keep up the great job!

Happy Birthday!!! Congrats on your loss, perhaps not much but a LOSS just the same. WAY TO GO! I've lost 1 lb this week and as this is my first week that's my total. I'm happy with one pound as I did go over my calories a couple of days but with the exercise that I was able to keep up I'm thrilled to say at least I had a loss. I hope that everyone who participate has a loss or at least no gain is wonderful. Have a great weekend all. I hope to be able to check in but I will be busy as it's my father's b'day as well as father's day this weekend.

Congratulations on your loss! You are definitely on the right track. And even though you slipped a few times, you didn't slip all the way off track! Great job with the one pound loss. Next week, I bet you'll end up with a two pound loss!! Keep up the great work!

Happy birth day and many happy returns of the day. I am retired person. I control my weight through diet only. At night I eat half of what i eat in the day time. That works well with me.

After spending last weekend at the music festival and eating on the run, I had expected to have gained this week, but I guess I drank enough water and walked enough to make the difference. I ended up breaking even this week after all. I didn't lose anything again this week, but at least I didn't gain anything either.

Congratulations on not gaining anything. Its very discouraging to find out that you've gained weight, so be happy that you didn't. I'm sure next week you will shed some pounds! Keep up the great work!
