Why the Spurs won: 1. Defense - LBJ really never got going 2. Experience - How many of those guys had rings on their fingers? Horry himself had 6 on his fingers before the finals 3. Teamwork - LBJ's teammates looked lost in every game against a Spurs team who looked like they knew what their roles were throughout the series 4. Mr Eva Longoria - Cavs never had an answer for Parker. Maybe, Hughes could have provided defense if he didn't get injured And I agree that more than half of those Western Playoff Teams would have beaten the Cavs.

it's a team game. that's exactly how it is for the spurs. it's not just a one-man show for them. it's not just that they play well defensively but they got players that could score. spurs can count on their bench. james needs help from the whole team. he can't just take on duncan, parker and ginobili alone. plus, the spurs got more experience.

Simple answer? Talent levels. The Spurs were by far the more talented team. LeBron James might have been the most talented player on the court in the Finals, but the combination of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and co. was too strong top to bottom for the Cavs. LeBron needs more help around him; the pieces he's got are good for winning the East, but they won't last a long time against the Western Powers. I honestly believe that all 8 teams in the West (Lakers and Warriors included) could have beaten the Cavs in the finals.

The Spurs defense locked down LeBron and the rest of the Cavs couldn't step up and produce. Cleveland is a crap team who relies solely on their one superstar for victory.

The Spurs are a great team. That's why they won it 4-0. They have excellent unselfish players. They also have playoff experience. They did not even panic or called a timeout when the Cavs were leading by 3 points in the 4th quarter. Spurs showed composure and won it all.
