Do you find you make meals that fit together because of the way you grew up? Like do you make macaroni and cheese with hotdogs? Or how about grilled cheese with tomato soup. Do you find that any of your meals seem different if you don't make them according to your personal history? Mine do. How about yours?

My boyfriend and his family eat peanut butter sandwiches with chili. Most people in this area do so as well. It makes me sick to even think of it together. But, they have done that all their lives. I did not grow up here, so I never heard of such a thing.

I am with you. I don't think that would be my favorite. I also know lots of people put peanut butter on their pancakes before they put on the syrup. I tried it. I won't again! LOL thanks for the reply!

Peanut butter and chili huh? It does not sound good to me at all. I like peanut butter on my pancakes, but not with peanut butter and syrup.

yes it does, and sometimes my sis and friends say their idea and it becomes another new way to cook it.

I have to eat my grilled cheese with tomato soup. I also sometimes make chipped beef gravy on toast. (Known to some as Sh!t on a shingle.) Other than that I don't have anything that has to be the same way.
