Last Christmas I found the most beautiful comforters at Big Lots for $10 each. They were available in various sizes from Twin to King size. I picked up two twin comforters for my three year old daughter's bedroom in a beautiful shade of pastel green with light floral print.
She loves them! They were easy to match to other inexpensive accessories. They're super soft and easy to clean.
And, unlike the Elmo and Blue's Clues comforters that cost over $30 each at local stores, she may never grow out of these!

Ha! Someone else likes big lots just like me! I absolutely love big lots! I go there all the time and find the greatest deals for my kids' rooms as well. We just built extra rooms onto our home so the kids can have their own rooms and we went there to shop for there stuff and the kids were so excited, especially the girls they got to pick what they wanted for their rooms and we didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars either because everything was priced so cheap. I love to go there also for b-day gifts or even christmas gifts, they really have great prices all the time.

Finally, another Big Lots mom! We should form a club or something. We are truly a rare breed. I love the big lots. Lots of people don't understand the concept of Big Lots and think it's just like the dollar store, but it's not. They get huge lots and pallettes of goods from store closings and close-outs and then resell them at almost wholesale prices to the general public. And, unlike Sams Club, Big Lots charges no membership.
Before my daughter was born, I got some name brand Disney and Mickey Mouse clothing for two dollars each! That is unheard of! They were brand new and had tags on them too.
She wore those items until she got too big for them and now dresses her dolls with them. They wore like iron.
And, then a year ago, at Christmas time, the hubby took seventy dollars and went to Big Lots and bought two DVD players, some kids toys, a bunch of socks for the little girl and two pairs of toddler outfits-tops and bottoms. At the Walmart, that much stuff would have been closer to $125 or up.
Big Lots has saved us lots of money over the years.
Let's chat soon about our thrifty ways, and maybe swap some thrifty mom tips. I'd love to talk to you some more!

Lol, I would love to chat about the great deals. I know, big lots is a great store. I love that you can find great stuff, sometimes even name brand things that, like you have said can last years. Hope to chat again soon!
