To all sudoku fans, have you compared your time when you did a puzzle on paper vs when you did one on your computer screen (e.g. at http://websudoku.com or http://sudoweb.com)? I realised it's a lot easier to do on paper than on screen! I'm not sure why, I'm using an LCD monitor and it looks ok on my screen, I just take longer! Sometimes I can't complete it when it's on screen too, but I can complete it when it's on paper! Anyone have this same experience? Or know why this is so?

I share the same experience with you. It seem like it is easier to work on paper than on computer. Probably is the matter of use to it. I prefer on paper as I can do it anywhere I want. Back in Singapore, I use to work on it on the way to work and back from work in the train.

i agree with you it is very nice to do this at work or school or other places when you travel;that's one of the reasons i don't like the ones on pc

I have a hand held sudoku game and is really good you can add mulitple numbers in one cell till you think you have chosen the right number... I do however prefer doing on paer as I can scribble my possible answers on the paper rather than having the numbers flashing at me....

Yup, me too! Doing it on screen just doesn't cut it. :P

I find it easier to do it on Nintendo DS's because you can put little numbers in that you think it might before, before choosing which number to put in the box. I can't do this most the time online, because it doesn't have this feature and I can't do it on paper, because it looks mess.
