Barker Wins Daytime Emmy!

Bob Barker won best daytime game show host on the Daytime Emmy Awards last night. This was his 19th Daytime Emmy Award and a great way to end his career as host of The Price Is Right.
I had to laugh at his comment below, "This proves that the judges had sympathy for an old man who doesn't have a job," quipped Barker, who retired last week after 35 years on "The Price Is Right."I'm going to miss him on The Price Is Right and his humor! I wonder who is replacement will be? I wish that CBS would get on with the announcement!

I'm not surprised he won again and that he's won so many times. It'll be sad not to see him on The Price Is Right. He's been such an icon for so many years. I grew up watching TPIR. I don't watch it much these days, but still have a fondness for Bob Barker and always appreciated his ending the show to spay and neuter your pets! I'm sure whoever CBS chooses it'll be somebody good! Still won't be the same, though?

Yes, I also grew up watching The Price Is Right. My husband and I were talking last night and said it is kind of cool that both we and our kids grew up watching this show.
