Good Morning! It's time to wake up!

Every morning, my typical wake up call is the constant meowing of our oldest cat.
Surprisingly, our daughter can sleep right through all the ruckus, but not me.
Other days, the traffic from the nearby street wakes me up.
Being a light sleeper is just part of the job description for being a mom, I guess. It doesn't hurt, anyway.
So, what about you? How does your day start? What's your wakeup call?

Mine is the alarm clock, and rigth after that the meowing of Olivia, my cat. She used to meow before the clock rang, but I used to throw her a pillow to her face and now she learned to wait for the alarm to go off, ha ha ha

Ohh, you hit a nerve! Ha! I am awakened at midnight, 3:30, 5:30 and 7:00 7 days a week by trains!!! Our house is very close to a train track. There is a crossing about a block from our house, so the trains begin to use their horns furiously from about a mile in the other direction. Everyone else has learned to sleep through the trains, but afer 13 years, it looks as though I'm not going to ever sleep through them! The trains continue throughout the day. If one is outdoors and talking, one just has to cease talking until they pass because conversation cannot be heard. GRRRRRRR!
