When you feel tired,How to relax yourself?

I always stay up late,and that make me feel tired.I will go to sleep for a rest.but if I do not like to sleep,I will stand up and have a walk outside,or listen to some comfortable music. When you feel tired,what will you do? How do you relax yourself? Let's share it. Thank you.

i usually hear some soft music,have some snacks and if possible drink something hot or cold depending on the season.I also have a grass lawn in front of my room, i usually take a brief stroll in case i am not feeling excessively tired

For me, the best way to relax when I feel very tired is, to move away from the current location, talk a short walk around, or to go to a beach nearby and sit there watching the seashore with my music playing in my music mobile. This always relaxed me and makes me feel better. I have tried this many times. At times, when Im away from the beach, I used to sit with the friends there and chat with them. This also, makes me feel better. If no friends are available near me, I will give them a call and have a talk for sometime.

My own way is listening to mellow music, i can relax much more likely when i hear my favorite song. It is good also when you want to sleep, with music in the background.

When I feel tired, just like you, I either rest or go to sleep. Or to take the stress away, I go to the beauty parlor for mani/pedicure; or better still, go to the spa parlor for body massage. Here in our country, pampering one's self is affordable, that's why weekly trips to the parlor is a better option. I sometimes just sit in our sala, watch TV, or just simply lie down with either my son, daughter. When my husband is around, we talk or take our snacks, or do anything relaxing.

I always relax by taking a short nap. When I fell tired, my mind will tend to tell my body to sit down, feel comfortable and go to sleep. This I always tend to do even while sitting on a chair. On the average,I can always have a 15 minutes nap whenever my body feels the urge to rest. Music or no music and even when there is some sound in the background, I can always take a good short nap. This is the reason why I can go on with my work feeling refreshed even for a short work break of only 15 minutes.

When I'm tired I'll try writing in a journal. I find that when I'm tired I become more truthful and write better.

I would relax by just clearing my mind and sit on a chair. I try to calm myself and just enjoy sitting there.

I have always liked Yoga. It really keeps you fit and relaxed. Sleeping also makes you relaxed but is always not a remedy. There is one thing I do to flex my muscles. That is I start from my head, then concentrate on each area. Lying down on the bed I first tighten the muscles on the face and slowly relax them. Then I can feel them relaxing. Once I am convinced that they have reached the maximum possible relaxation I continue with my arm, stomach etc. Then for about 15 minutes I lie down with all my muscles relaxed.

Hey t1985, I'm a night owl too-I stay up watching TV hehe-but since I can't sleep w/o the TV on (the silence keeps me awake) I'll put it on TV Land & the reruns put me to sleep-I can close my eyes & still be watching b/c I know the characters looks then before you know it I'm sleeping. +'s 2 U :D

I usually come on here or go on to other forums. I also watch tv possibly a horror or action movie cause I know I wont fall assleep to those types of movies and I just try to be as busy as possible by cleaning up and doing other stuff because if im just laying down doing nothing then I will fall assleep

I have insomnia so I almost always stay up late. And it does wear me off. I cant even have a short nap so what I do is just sit, have a cup of hot drink and watch tv. It relaxes me.

i take vigorous exercise at a gymnasium sometimes, and i think i can relax from exercising; and when i was tired i would sleep for a long time . and i like tea too, you can relax after have a cup of tea.

Sometimes I'll get up and do something else for a while, like read or do my bills or something. But sometimes, when I just can't fall asleep, I'll take a sleepaid.

I have two different way to relax my self when i'm tired. First,i will turn on the calm muzik then lay my self in the bath , and turn the warm water and add a feww dropd of relaxation oil.I clse my eyes and rest........it's so comfortable. OR I will massage my feet by using an electric foot massage device to loosen up my bofy and stimulate my blood circulation.It also helps me fall in sleep very easily...i like that very much.

When i feel tired, i just lay down on my bed and listen to music, that way makes me feel more relax, but when im on the office and feel so tired i just sit down on my chair and close my eyes for a while to refresh my mind and so as my eyes too.

When I feel tired, I usually go to sleep. Other times, I will find something to do that makes me happy. Sometimes I listen to slow music or just watch DVDs or tv. Most of the time I really go to sleep after school.

yeah,i have the same feeling,sometimes i feel very tired,becasue sometimes i go to sleep very late. I think we must go to bed early,the sleep is the best way to keep energy,i know we are all students now,we can try my best effort to studying.But sometimes we all spend so much time on mylot. I don't like go to bed early,so i think have a nap in the daytime will get better.In the summer,sometimes i feel very tired in the daytime,so i choose have a nap.it will bring feel better. I suggest you also have a nap in the daytime,when you feel very tired you must go to bad early.Please don't make you so tired. The rest is very important. The best wishes. ..

I sit down with a a cup of cofee and a few pieces of chocolate. if I can't have both I settle by curling myself up in bed.
