Are your relatives are helpful or indifferent?

Though I have a lot of relatives except very close relatives, all are indifferent to me. Even some relatives failed to contact us for the last 20 years. Though I do not need any support from them in any manner, still I do not know why they are indifferent to us. How about your relatives, do they maintain good relations with you?

Most of mine are helpful except my fathers side. His sister is a money grabber, selfish and everything I stand to hate, she wouldn't help anyone unless she got something in return. (such as looking after my elderly grandmother)
I have good relationships with except her family.
