So Tide with Downey had become my favorite laundry soap, but now I found Simple Pleasures. It was on sale at Walmart and I thought I'd try Lavender and Vanilla. It is wonderful! Smells soooo good! They had other scents, but I'm partial to vanilla! Happy Tides !!!!

I prefer to use tide with downey, as I love the smell, and I am not a big fan of vanilla

Since I started this discussion, I've tried 2 different scents, and I have to say that the only Tide I find where the wonderful smell actually stays with the clothes or towels is Tide with Downey. The other scents smell great when you pour it in to the wash and put your clothes in the dryer, but the smells don't really stay with them like the Tide with Downey.

I have tried the fabric softer in that brand in that scent, it really smells good too. I don't put the liquid fabric softner in the washer. I put it on a damp rag in the dryer. Uses a lot less this way and works just as well.

I've never tried the damp cloth with fabric softener in the dryer, I always use dryer sheets, Snuggle. But I did try a vanilla/raspberry snuggle sheet once, it's pretty expensive though. Cool beans, I'll have to try the lavender/vanilla fabric softener too. Thanks terri!
