Lilies pose serious danger for cats

Recently, I read that lilies are poisonous to cats and kittens. If you've recently received a bouquet of flowers or lilies and have noticed that your cat is vomiting excessively or demonstrating signs of blindness or paralysis, please be sure to rush him to the vet. Also, make sure your cat does not get close to lilies. I've heard that simple contact between the cat fur and the lily is enough to bring on severe symptoms. Once the cat starts cleaning himself, he'll ingest the lily pollen and become very ill. Lily poisoning can lead to coma or death in cats. Please pass this information along to anyone who has pets.

I think one of the other more common problems for cats is floor cleaners, if you have tiles and wash them them certain cleaners remember your cat does a lot of licking of their fur ans paws and they can be digesting these poisons...some of these cleaning products can be deadly to cats..
