Do you pick up after your kids?

I have three kids ages 9,5 & 1...We live in a two bedroom apartment, one bedroom is souly dedicated to their play room. I used to pick up after them each time they would leave toys on the floor or anything else out of place. But now I refuse to! I let them pick up after themselves and if they choose not to, then I place a restriction on the playroom until it has been cleaned up. How about you, do you pick up after your children?

I don't pick up after my son. We have a 2 bedroom apt and as long as his clutter stays in his room or bathroom, my husband and i have no problems with it. We do make sure he picks up after himself if he leaves stuff out in the living room. We *try* to keep the house neat, but 1,100 sqft is not a lot of room for the three of us plus out pets so it tends to get cluttered quick.

I got tired of picking up after my son and now that he is able to do it himself, I get him to do it, and if I am in the mood I will help, but mostly it is done by him.
