Call in "palimony" or just "breaking up", I don't understand why the two people involved want to drag the courts into it. "We don't need the government in our relationship"! If I was the judge in the first "palimony" lawsuit, I would have laughed at the two people and said, "You chose to not get a marriage license. You chose to avoid the rights and responsibilities that come with a marriage. I hereby rule and set precendence that you have no case before any court of law." If the government had no business in your relationship developed, why is it that you want the government involved to end it?

Stupid people do stupid things. Greedy people losing the fight call in the courts for their backup. If you can't win on a level playing field, tip the field in your favor. I think that people who resort to that sort of tactic are pathetic losers who deserve to be "crapped on by life".

Yup, they want it both ways. They want the government to butt out when they are getting along, but as soon as there is trouble, they cry to government to "make it all better".
