Do you like books? Do you wish you had new ones to read?

My roommate turned me onto this site, www.bookmooch.com.
Basically if you have a bunch of old paperbacks that you don't read anymore, you can list them on this website for people to request, and then for the cost of shipping the book, you gain points to get new books to read. You also get points for listing the books. It usually costs 1-2 points to have a book shipped to you, and there are hundreds of users, so there's quite a selection! I've even found a few rare titles on there that are on their way to me!
I love the entire idea, because shipping one of my old books that I will never read again, usually costs less than buying a new book, so I'm de-cluttering my bookshelves of old reading material as well as getting new books to read!
There's also another website called Bookcrossing.com where you leave books in a location in your city, you post the location and other bookcrossing members can go get your book.. still a neat idea, but kind of a pain in the butt if you go looking for a book that someone already took and forgot to post as being found.
Anyone else doing this?

Well, I know there are a few Harry Potter books listed on there.

It sounds pretty neat, but a little too much hassle for me. I try to sell books I'm done with, and if they don't sell, I donate them to one of about 3 places. Other than that, I just get my books from the library unless I can buy them super cheap online.

I love to read. It takes me away to a new place. I love to imagine what the characters would look like and how they might act. I think it is so much better than watching a movie.
