what do you do with your old clothes...???donate or keep with yourself...???

I usually give mine to the salvation army or to good will unless someone I know wants them. The reason I give them to those places is because they can sell them and raise money to create new jobs for the unemployed and raise money to help the poor and homeless.

I first offer things to my sons or other family and afetr it has changed hads with them, whatever is left over I give to charity.

I donate old clothes, usually to family and friends first. This time it has gotten way out of hand, the accumulation. So, I have several large bags and a large box that I will be taking to the Goodwill store. My daughter is mad, she wants money for herself from her stuff. I have no time to arrange and have a sale. How can I get her to understand that giving is the best way?

i will give them to my friends or relatives who seem to need them. sometimes i will keep some for myself if they are special to me.

most of my old clothes,I just denote them to those poor area.but some old clothes,I just keep them in my cabinet or sell them to others,thus which can earn money for me.

I usually donate my older clothes to poor people who really cant afford good clothes from time to time. By that way i get a satisfaction of atleast offering a helping hand to a needy person. The peace of mind which you get after donating to the poor really is needed for everyone. I think it will be good if everyone does the same as it would give you a sense of satisfaction. Life is more how you live for others than how you live for yourself.

I normally donate my clothes to the salavation army.I Donated 3 big bag loads a few weeks ago.I never throw things away because someone less fortunate than me can use them.

It would depend upon the condition of the clothes. Firstly, I would offer them among my family if the condition were good, or unworn. If they were of no use to them, I would donate them to a charity shop, preferably a national one, because I believe charity begins at home. Brightest Blessings.

i put my old clothes in the bin or give them to my younger cousin if she wants them

We usually give them to our cousins and relatives. Otherwise we donate them to charitable institutions and to those ravaged by typhoons or any other natural calamities. I have lots of old clothes in good condition stagnating in my closet right now. My mom's saving them for a garage sale they're planning to hold someday. Cheers! Happy Posting :)
