Every year five to six thousand law graduates take the bar examination... do you think that there are too many lawyers in the philippines? do we still need more? what is in-store in the future for the other law students? Just a thought as a law student myself...

But of course! Looking at the backlog of cases our fiscals have, the Republic needs more lawyers, now! the problem is, most lawyers would opt private practice over working for the government. Most lawyers go where the money is. I am guilty of that, that is if i will ever become one! :) as to whether the Philippines has too many lawyers, i don't think so, albeit i don't know the exact number of lawyers here in the Philippines...

Well, I always wanted to be a lawyer, but yeah I guess there are far too many lawyers. It's like you can get 5 for a penny these days. Plus their jobs are quite routinary. Plus it's either they teach or they go for politics. We don't need politicians anymore. Well, if you want to be a lawyer, then try to look for ways to be unique. Here's a joke to keep things light: Two tigers are walking along a jungle trail in single file. The rearmost tiger wanders off the trail for a few minutes, then reappears shortly thereafter. A few moments later, the front tiger feels what seems to be the other tiger's tongue, applied just below his tail. The tiger disapproves of this action, but doesn't want to start anything by bringing it up. Then, the tiger again feels the tongue, again in the same place. He decides to confront the after tiger, and asks him, "Did you just lick me twice in the butt?" The other tiger replied, "Yeah, sorry about that. I just ate a lawyer and I was trying to get the taste out of my mouth." =)
