Can you jot down your National Anthem?

The national anthem of the United States - "The Star Spangled Banner", lyrics written by Francis Scott Key inspired by seeing the flag flying after the successful defense of Fort McHenry in the war of 1812. O say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there; O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave? i am from the philippines and i can definitely jot down my national anthem which is 'Lupang Hinirang' in our language. the title will be to mean literally the 'chosen land'. our country is the pearl of orient seas. it is the land of our birth and that we are willing to defend it with all our might even if, it could mean sacrificing our last breath for her. for us citizens of our native land, we will always be willing to defend our countries because, this is where we belong to. it is the only one which we have known to be the place where to settle comfortably from birth.

A very interesting topic. Though there is not much to discuss in the topic, it provides a chance to get the lyrics of the national anthems of various countries. By the way, you forget to include a vital point. I mean you should have mentioned about Rabindranath Tagore, the author of this beautiful patriotic song. All the best Urvashi.
