Which religion do you belong to? If you were to choose which religion will you belong to, which is it? Would you be a Christian, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, Satanist, Pagan, or an Atheist? Why? You can express anything about your religion in this topic. feel free. Just don't judge other religions badly ok? peace! FYI. I'm born as a Christian yet I'm an Atheist.

you are showing herein that there is a room for religion in your heart. however, you have never been properly enlightened on this matter. due to the lack of enlightenment, you have seen that money is the more reasonable one to turn to. this is understandable. the Bible speaks of money as the only one thing which is sufficient to answer for all the material needs of man. thus man will need money for survival of the material body and the satisfaction of all its needs.

Do you think that one can prefer one religion to others as one prefers tea to coffee or a red shirt to a green shirt? Sadly, many people see it this way and try religions until they find the one they like most. Many times they also take a little bit from here and a little bit of there, mixing their personal belief cocktail. Why? The fact that we enjoy freedom to think what we like, has nothing to do with what is right or what is wrong. It does not depend on men's belief whether God exists or not, nor can humanity choose a God they'd prefer or dethrone God by majority decision. So how could anybody find the truth? Difficult to answer, even for an Atheist turned Christian like I was. Of course you must seek, but then again, it will be your own wisdom that will speak loudest. Else, adopt an open mind. Be ready to believe or not to believe, but don't be neither credulous nor incredulous. Both are a sure way to go astray. Trust that if that great God does really exist -as I'm convinced of-, he will make himself present. PS: Dear arsonizta, nobody can be born a Christian. To be a Christian means to imitate Christ, and that is a decision. Perhaps you should give Christianity, i.e. discipleship of Christ, another look, before declaring yourself an Atheist.

I like the Buddhism... it looks very mysterious from the outside and I think that they are living a very healthy life... I'd like at least to go and visit that region...

I'm a Catholic, but I believe you don't need a religion to believe in GOD. Religion is just a way to manifest your belief or faith in God. Religion is almost synonimous to culture. We practice our religion because our parents/society taught us.

I wouldn't recommend any religion these days.. just make sure that you believe in God himself, and do what your concious tells you that it's right.. I think it' the best way..

i am a true Christian by faith, by spirit and by my work. God manifest in our midst today through only one way, the Bible. all of God's teachings are contained therein. thus, for anyone who truly wants to know God and learn everything about Him, it is only through learning the Bible by heart that this can be achieved. learning the Bible is no easy task. someone has to be there to preach you about its entirety. once you have adequate knowledge, you will have to learn more about it continuously for as long as you live.

I am not a church-goer but have a strong faith in God. At Beliefnet.com I took a quiz to help align my spiritual beliefs with a type of religion and the top two always come out to be Judaism & Quaker.......... The quiz is very interesting. You can find it at: http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html

Once you born in a particular religion then it indicates you should belong that forever, As like once you took birth from a pair of parents, under whatever be the reasons you cannot change the birth given parents.... So you belong the religion which you born... You belong to the parents from whom we got birth... It all depend upon us how we tackle the situations basing on our faith, hope, maturity and etc.,

I was brought to church every Sunday as a child but now I'm Agnostic because I don't believe in God, but I'm not saying a greater force doesn't exist either. You could say I'm just indecisive, but I prefer to say it's a religion of possibility :P btw Buddhism isn't a religion. It's actually a philosophy of how we should live. The religion incorporating Buddhism is called Taoism.

I am a Christian now and have been baptized as such but if I were to shop for a religion I think I would choose Islam. And I do not mean the Extremist side of Islam. But the religion of peace that is so unlike the image being peddled my extremists who have a different interpretation of the Quran.

I think if I was going to go out and shop for a religion to be raised in, I might choose Buddhism. I think it is a fascinating and very focused set of beliefs. I have read a bit about it, but I am too old to learn or rather to take such a change to heart and believe in it. It is more of a mental exercise. It might have been nice to be brought up with the ideals of Buddhism, though.
