Do you feel closer to your mom or your dad?

People always say that if you're a girl, you will be closer to your dad and if you're a boy to your mom...I think they call it the Oedipus Complex..How bout you?

in my case,thats not true because i am more closer to my mom than my dad.my brother is also close to my mom and my dad.so i guess theres no truth about this oedipus complex.i think it just depends on whose parent is always there beside you as you grow up.
the reason why i am closer to my mom than my dad is because she was always there when i need her unlike my father who is always at work.yes,my mother also works for us but she do her best to help us in any way that she can.i have no hard feelings with my dad,i just hope that he could help us whenever we have problems even if it is just a minor problem.

I think this is true I am a girl and I feel more closer to my dad.I love my mom also but if I have to chose one whom I love more, from both of them then I will surely vote for my dad.

I don't know for sure. My sister.. I think she is closer to my Mom. My big bro... 50-50. And me.. don't know... maybe also 50-50...

Yea that's what they always say, but im closer to my mom because my dad works abroad and he just go home on the holidays once a year. We never get along very well, i grew up with so much independence but when he's around i feel like trap in a cage because he's super strict.
