Beaslets have arrived all 7 of them, all was well till their mother rejected

them. Beast went in to labour without warning Saturday mid morning and gave birth to a litter of 7, 5 b1tches and 2 dogs by the look of it. Then about 5.30 she shoved them all down one end of the cave and turned her back on them. They started mewing, then she started barking and growling at them and nest building. Time for intervention, thinks I. So, I calmed her down with some food and fuss, then re-introduced them slowly, bit of a nervous night but all seemed well this morn and continued well through out the day.

Well done Urban. Sounds like you have sorted it out anyway, just make sure to keep them all warm. Maybe she got a fright when she saw she had 7 of them to take care of!
Had a quick look on the net for solutions in case it happens again, it probably won't. Read the below link, a small amount of helpful advice there.

Thanks, she seems a lot more relaxed today and let me change her bedding and is back to being very protective, growling at visitors, etc so I think all is well. And studies show a little stress on puppies, even at this stage promotes congnative development, so perhaps it was a good thing!
