I recently watched this movie. I was a bit skeptical when I saw it at the movie store, but after reading the description I checked it out. It's pretty cool, realistic. Depicts life in mid 1850's era of Applachian America. Very believable. Early Americans did bring their beliefs and tales from the old countries and they were very superstitious of strangers and held to their leader of the communities rulings. I really enjoyed the movie.
