Do you ever use the Mc Donald's Arch car to pay for your purchases at Mc Donald's? They make for a great gift too, you can get them in various denominations and in a lot of different card styles. You can check your balance online, at a terminal or by calling a toll free number. On more than a few occasions I was extremely thankful that I had one of these cards with me - either I was running low on cash or had none at all on me. Have you ever given an Arch Card or used one? Ever had any troubles using one at a local Mc Donald's?

This is the first that I have ever heard of them. Is this something new they are doing or have they been doing it for awhile? I think it is a good idea especially to give someone as a gift.

They have had them for about a year now. They are usually on display at the counter but in some places you may have to ask them for them. They are plastic cards that are the same size as credit cards but you have to add money to them when you buy them.

Thanks for the explanation. I've probably never seen them because we usually go through the drive thru. I have a card like that for Dunkin Doughnuts.

I have never heard of one. Is it like a credit mcdonolds car or something. This would be abused here in australia. We have enough overweight people with diabetes. But my children would love one gosh I hope no one mentions it to them this could be bad.

They aren't a credit card, you have to add money to them when you buy them. They are nice to give kids, you can add money to them when you want so you can control how much they spend.

i had something in arizona..i'm not sure it was called an arch card? but what it was was almost like a repeat customer card-everytime you purchased it kept balance, and when you got so many points, you got something free. i'd never seen them outside of the southwest, though.
