what would you do if you were onboard a public vehicle and saw your ex with the person whom he/she had dumped you for?

I actually ran into my ex and his wife (who he dumped me for) on his birthday one year. I wished him a happy birthday, and went on my way. In that situation, I knew in the end that I was the better person, so I felt pretty good about the situation. Mostly, I just don't worry about it. My exes may have caused me a lot of heartbreak at the time, but it meant that I found the man I am now engaged to, and he is far better than any of them ever were. So it all works out in the end! :)

Unless the relationship ended on completely bad terms, I would atleast say 'What's up?' to my ex. I'm a firm believer in keeping people on atleast decent terms with me because you never know when you might need them. Selfish, I know...but I've got to look out for myself. After saying a casual hello, I'd simply keep in mind that I'm better off without them - assuming that it's uncomfortable seeing them with someone else - because I can assure you there is someone out there that can easily fill their shoes in your life.

This actually happened to me. I saw them both, and they both looked awful. I felt pretty good about that!

i would have greeted them and smiled at them. i don't hold grudges to anyone. for me, past is past and nothing more could bring us back where we used to be, i have my own life now and she has hers too. life has to move on and make friends with anybody be it your ex's or not for life is too short. when shall we grow up and learn things maturely if we won't begin fogetting the past and forgiving those who have hurt us.

It also happened on my part; When i saw him and his girlfriend..I did ignore them,to the point that seeing them both struct me most..I need to move on..other than stacking myself from my past..And as I continue I did find someone through my journey..and now engaged to better one..than my ex.

I would wave and smile. There is no use in holding grudges, life is too short.

I have no relation with him so it will make no difference to me. I have my own life now.

let it be move on and think there is a reason for everything. be nice and say to her good luck and i hope you find peace with yourself is there kids involved? we all know there is or will be someone else out there for each other and be kind to each other there is to much hate in this world as it is and you can be the better person for it.
