Why after fame and glory?

I have seen many people want to show to other that they are famous and have got respect in the society. This is mostly in the case of the Candidate who is going to stand for election.
As a ground wok for the elections he himself with the group of his tested or favourable people will organize the function and he will be the chief guest for it, Called the important and leader type people to his house thow away the party on them, start giving the donation to Sport club, religious institute and so on.
What ever may be their intantion behind spending the amout but main thing is to show off the other that he has something to spend or to get credit for themself.

Some people with power, let it get to their heads. People should never be given too much power. The will not know what to do with it.

it is all about power which is more seductive than anything in the world because with power you can get what ever you want.if one is famous and gets the glory he gains respect of his peers and his peers would attach himself to someone who is known to rub off some of his powers.
