Would you want to live an extra ordinary life?

I just watched the Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer, and it made me think. A lot of us would say we would want to have extra ordinary powers, but in that film they wished to become normal and be able to live a normal life and start a normal family. Given a chance to choose, would you want to have supernatural powers? Even if you have to face the consequences of this kind of life? If so, what kind of supernatural powers would you want to have? Or maybe you would rather live a normal life? Why? Given a chance I think it is quite exciting to have powers, but then if I will think of the longterm consequence of that kind of a life, I don't think I would want to. It means I will always be on call to save the world. How can I fall in love and get married and raise children if I am on call 24/7? So even if life could be pretty boring at times, I think I would have to deal with it then..
