When was the last time you did something for the first time?

I saw this question in a TV ad (I think it was about Emirates airlines). I really liked it a lot. I really never asked myself this question before, and when I thought about it, it was not easy to answer. Life became to busy, it's more like a routine. There's nearly nothing new that I did in the near past except driving a car! But that's not what the question means. It means discovering new things to do (not related to routine). So, after hard thinking for a while, I failed to remember anything. I think it's about 10 years since I did anything new. It's a shame, my life is not that interesting. What about you?

Recently my dog had puppies so for the first time I had a dog with a litter, being inside to watch over them led me to have all my clothes washed and put away, first time ever. For the first time ever I am erecting and configuring an electric gate opening system and for the first time ever I am starting to make some small progress in learn a language, quite an achievement for me as I am so bad at languages. all the best urban

That's funny. It's good to keep discovering new potentials within you. I've been learning language too (French) for about six months, but it isn't new, because I used to learn it in school too. Thank you for the response.

I tried to learn French but I found it hard to pronounce and whenever I have been to France I have tried speaking it but never made myself understood. Sometimes I suspected the French just pretend not to understand. all the best urban

LOL. The pronounciation is a little bit hard to me too, but I guess I'm getting used to it.

Oh cerium, why do you think so. Almost all time you are doing something new (first time).You are seeing new people. You are talking new words. You are hearing new songs. You are walking through a new road. You are waking up to a new morning and everything you are doing new.Yes almost all things you are doing first time. Yes all this new things you did last time. so don't worry. Don't be shame. You are not old you are new. Wish you all the best.

Well, I guess you are right. Everyday is a new day. However, sometimes it is better to get off the routine. To visit a new place, make a different thing. Life became to fast, and it is making us busy. But still, I guess you are right. Thank you for your kind response.
