Yar its a shopping and food paradise. I love the country so much. There is just so much things to do there. On 1 trip, I walked from morning till around 5 in the evening and carrying so much shopping bags. My legs ache like nobody business and I was forced to go back to the hotel and soak my poor legs in hot water. The night scene is nice too. I used to work for a Hong Kong company. Hence, my colleagues always bring me to eat the nicest food available. The deserts are really nice too. It reminds me of London. Just that most of the people are Chinese.

Yes, I stopped off there on my way to Australia. I wish I had spent longer there. There is so much to do and so see. I stayed at the youth hostel on the top of Mount Davis. If I missed the bus going up there at the end of the day it was a long and hot walk back up there. The think I remember most was the amazing view over the city all lit up at night. Wow! I liked seeing the streets with all the interesting shops and Chinese writing everywhere. The harbour looked really lovely with all the ships and boats. I took a boat out to one of the beaches. I didn't wish to go swimming though because of all the litter. My Great Aunt lived in Hong Kong when she was alive. Her husband had work there. My mum told me she came back to visit her in England but hated the cold weather. This was before I was born and so I didn't ever meet her. It was therefore very special for me to have been to Hong Kong.

I was hoping someday me and my family can visit Hongkong. Especially now that there is a Disneyland there. And the Waterworld, cable cars, restaurants and the shopping plaza that is most famous because of its cheap merchandise.
