Can anybody teach me basic language in India?

I recently watched the series Heroes and there's this guy, Prof. Suresh, and he's from India. I admire him thats why I wanna learn the basic language :)

India Is A Country With Many Cultures And Languages.But The National Language Of India Is Hindi.I Know 4 Languages Spoken In India.Which Language Is It That You Want To Learn.Can Help You.

Thanks for the info, I didnt know that your country have different languages. Lets start with Hindi :) basic words like good morning, afternoon, evening and how are you? is your language hard to learn?
