Do you go to Starbucks? Why or Why not? What do you order when you go there? I don't go there often because I don't really like their coffee. When I do go I get a Mint Frappachino or a dirty chai (chai tea with a shot of expresso).

I do go to Starbucks about once a week or so. I don't care for their drip coffee very much, but I like the speciality coffees. This time of year, I usually get their Pumpkin Spice latte. When I worked in a mall years ago, Starbucks was a daily thing!

To be honest I find Starbucks too expensive so I don't go there very often. When I do, however, I usually have a cappuchino

I agree. They are way overpriced and the coffee isn't even that good.

I stay away from Starbucks as much as possible. I don't like their business practices and I try to patronize other local coffee shops instead whenever possible. Wherever I go, my favorite warm coffee drink is a vanilla latte and my favorite cold coffee shop drink is half lemonade and half iced tea. But the reason I don't like Starbucks is two-fold. First, they do not offer free wi-fi for the laptop but require you to purchase internet time. There are too many other great places to go that offer free wi-fi to pay for it from Starbucks. Also, in my town, it seems that Starbucks advancement plan is to build right next to other established cofeee shops, presumably to try to run them out of business. What's pretty cool for me is that so far it doesn't seem to be working. The one near my favorite coffeeshop, "Bean*rs", hardly ever has more than a couple of cars in the parking lot when I drive by, and those could even just be the employees!

I know what you mean. I prefer the independent shops as well. Starbucks just seems to have such a snobbish attitude and they really art that good....

Starbucks isn't as wide spread here in France as is the case in other European countries. I've only ever seen one Starbucks café here and that was in Paris. The culture of the little cozy café is too strong for such a chain like Starbucks to truly break through. Even big chains like Burger King left after a while, French people don't really like American things that much. Subways (and of course McDonalds) seems to be the exception, but they sell sub sandwiches and that always works for the French!

I can definately understand that. I prefer not to buy from big chains and I can just imagine how it would be in Paris.

I actually hate starbucks coffee lol. Which is weird because I live in Washington. I just don't think it taste all that great and I can't understand why people pay so much money for it and it taste like crap. They have a company out here called Seattle's Best, which I prefer hands down over starbucks. The coffee just has a better quality to it to me. That and they make a killer caramel vanilla frozen coffee.

Yeah - there are a ton of other better coffee places in Washington. I think Starbucks coffee tastes terrible. I only do the frappucino things... and very rarely. Starbucks is just way too overpriced.

No I don't go there, and mostly because I don't really have a big thing for coffee and stuff like some people do. I would prefer a soda lol. But I did go there once with a friend and I got hot chocolate, and I thought it was really good!

I used to go to Starbucks all the time, years ago, when I worked in a mall. When things were slow at our store, someone would go get coffee from Starbucks...at least once a day. Now, I go maybe once every couple weeks. I don't really miss it. I have to get some sort of flavored drink, otherwise their coffee is too strong for me. I usually get a non-fat vanilla latte these days.

I only go to Starbucks occasionally. Their coffee is no big deal. It takes no better than something I can buy at one-tenth their price. When I go there, it is with my friends - for the ambiance, for the talk. That's all. NOT for the coffee.:P

I love their chai lattes, and the green tea frappucinos. Even when I was a coffee drinker, I was never a big fan of their coffee, since I found it always tasted too bitter. Maybe some coffee drinkers like their house blends bitter, but I really didn't. Now I'm a tea drinker, and they have some decent specialty drinks that cater to me. They are a little pricey, but maybe once or twice a month my boyfriend and I will be shopping or just having a nice relaxing day together and we'll go grab some drinks from Starbucks and browse a bookstore together for an hour or two. It's nice couple time.

I am a coffee addict I limit myself to maximum of 2 cups a day. If I am going to drink tea then I only drink 1 cup of coffee. I have hyper acidity so I need to be careful with what I drink and eat. I drink about 3-4 cups a day along with tap water, I like to have my coffee with milk, 2 sugars and warm boiled water, another words cold coffee.

I go to Starbucks, but not that often. I think their coffee is okay, but most of the time its just too rich for me and on the spendy side. I usually get some kind of flavored mocha or one of their special drinks.

When I go I get the Mocha Venti Frappuccino; I am way too cheap to pay two bucks for a regular cup of coffee but when I need a serious caffeine kick I will get the Venti with a couple espresso shots in it.

I will go to starbucks about every two weeks or once a month. I will usually get a latte, an iced late or a coffee light frappachino. I do like going there but I don't because it can get expensive for the quality of coffee it really is. Plus I would rather save the calories b/c some of those drinks can get fatty!
