Population growth is a major problem of today. The world has almost fixed resources but the growth of population easily going to end up resources available, such as oil. Computers on the other hand can do jobs in seconds which are done by some 10-100 people in some months. In this way computer pose a great problem to employment. The very important thing to save our world is to check the population growth. There are many awareness programmes going on different part of world, but it is not much. We have to design some technology (biotechnology to be more specific) to curb the population growth. What do you think can computers/ technology check the population growth of the world?

You loose some you win some. Computers may do jobs that can be done by 10-100 persons as you say but they also up open new doors and opportunities with its advent. In India for example, how many people have jobs that is relating to computer? HOw many are working in call centers? There is more good actually than bad. Those jobs that can be done by computers are better off done anyway by computers so that those People could use their skills and know how to other things. It's a matter of creating opportunities. Computer is not a threat but they are just boundless opportunities that I see.

Hey ibs, I'm sure there's already some sort of program to predict that.Biotechnology though hmmm... as long as the ppl that have like birth control request it & can get it removed when they want. I know I had norplants when they first came out & they messed me up bad what was worse is the doctor that put them in refused to take them out & it was very difficult to find another doctor to take them out b/c they were getting sued b/c the norplants were breaking off in ppl's arms while being removed. +'s 2 U :D
