Best Pking Characters

Combo is the best. Then no matter what type prayer their using you can switch weapons to hit them. For members pures are foolish. There are too many things that can get past prayer.

i use all types of pures as in the wildy, anything can happen even if you use combo, you just need the right damage to kill a pker.

i have a range pure that owns

it all depends. there are different reasons for choosing each. for quick kills at a low level, mage is good. but the higher the more runes cost. and the more you spend, the less money is profit. also, you cant re-use runes. but, you have the advantages of being able to teleport, bind and you hit really high. range, hits fast, and decently hard. the armor is decent, efective against mage, and relatively in expensive. you can re-use arrows, and they arn't to expensive to begin with. there are a variety of weapons you can use with it (as a member). it is actually pretty easy to train, and doesnt traise your combat level very much, as it is only 1 level. however, after a certain level, you must raise defense to wear good armor. you must do dragon slayer (raises strength) also, if you die, you lose (usually) several hundred arrows. you also cant teleport. melee, is powerful, especially a "rune scimmy pure". i got 3 hitted by a guy that was 10 levels lower than me. i had about 50 hp at the time. all he had was a rune scimmy, a rune 2h, and i was eating lobs. he still killed me. i recently started training a rune scimmy pure for that reason... they hit hard, fast, and they dont need defense, because they kill you to fast. combos. a good type of combo is a range mage combo. although they dont hit as hard as either, they have the advantages of hitting fast, hard, being able to telly , and bind. also, you can through in prayer to any of these, but if you start, stick with it, at least to level 43 (anti melee). sometimes, its the resort that saves you, till you can get to a low enough level to teleport. or it can give you the upper edge, and the kill. also, there are the stat bonus prayers, which make me hit 17, instead of 15. with my level 70 (56 str. 60 attack, 58 hp, 45 range, 52 magic, 50 def, 46 prayer) i hit a max of 13, unboosted, rune scimmy (this is last i checked) all boosted up, str ammy/ pot/ rune 2h, ult. str. i can hit about 20. big bonuses. anyway, as i said, it all depends.

i have both a pure mage and ranger.Honestly, after using and trying them both I feel mage is better. Yes, the runes are expensive but in the long run, you will get a massive profit. Think about it. Once your combat gets to 50 or 60 as a pure f2p everyone wears full rune. magic owns full rune, and thats an easy kill. Plus, magic allows you to hold your oppenent to get an easy hit and you can teleport away if need be. Yes rangers are much cheaper, but when i pked with him, i didnt feel it was as effective as my mage. Then again, it all comes down to opinion and what you like most. In my opinion, the best pures from greatest to least greatest is magic, strength, range.

Pure range/Pure str combo will be best to own everyone.
